Take Two Creative Storywriters
Bringing Bookworms and Storytellers Together

Take Two Creative Storywriters was originally founded in 1990, when my sister and I set out to write a screenplay. That was an “experience” to say the least. Deciding it was not her idea of fun; my sister gave up on writing leaving me hopelessly infected by the writing bug. In 2001, I met Tracy Hogan in a genealogy bulletin board and discovered we shared a passion for writing. He joined me as part of Take Two for many years, where we wrote stories together for online sites. About a year ago, he decided his passion was in writing about soccer. We tried (unsuccessfully) to merge our two passions on one site, but finally decided it would be better for our fans if he started his own site for soccer enthusiasts. (I love them all, but they can be a bit…intense.)

Take Two Creative Storywriters is launching into a new phase of its life. One where it brings writers and the readers we love into one venue to share ideas. On my blog “Fireside Chats,” readers can share what they would like to see happen in their favorite genres and writers can expand their story-writing horizons with the information they glean from their chats with readers.

I will post articles and information in the genres I love, as well as, random musing from my overly active mind. If you have an article that you think would be enjoyed by the members of this site. Please feel free to send it to me. If I use it on the site, you will get the by-line and I do not require you to give up your rights to your submitted work. If you have something you would like to see on the site, send me email and I will see what can be done. Please keep in mind that I am a YA author and many of my members are under the age of 18. For that reason, I ask that you keep your posts and submitted material with the PG-13 scope. For those of you that are fans of Erotica, I apologize for not being able to represent your genre at this time. I am working on an area for the Erotica genre that can be locked to anyone under the age of 18, but at the current time I don’t have that capability.

And finally, Take Two Creative Storywriters will be launching its own online gift shop called “The Bookworm’s Nook.” It will be a one-stop place to purchase my books (signed & priced well under the other retailers), posters, mugs, book bags, jewelry, and other gifts related to my writings. You will be able to pre-purchase coming releases at a significant savings and I will have a special price for small booksellers that don’t usually purchase their stock from Ingram’s.

I hope you will join our discussions and come back again and again. Feel free to contact me at any time with comments & suggestions. I love hearing from you. Thank you for coming and enjoy the site.
