CHOSEN OF AZARA
Juzeva, a princess of Savaru, vowed to the service of the magical Source Azara, sacrifices everything to try to stop a war, only to be caught in a web of evil and deceit.
Sevry, the last king of the war-ravaged land of Savaru, is tasked by Source Azara with finding the secret that disappeared with Juzeva, the secret that can heal Savaru and its Sources.
Lucie, a sheltered young noblewoman, is unaware of her true heritage and the power she bears, until a stranger claiming to be the legendary king of a long-dead land takes refuge in her father's house.
Torn between her familiar world and the truths her heart can't deny, Lucie must find the courage to join Sevry on his quest to restore Savaru and its magical Sources to life, a quest that will sweep her away to adventure, danger, and a love that could change her life - and the lost land of Savaru - forever.

Cover model/actor John Quinlan just announced three new posters on his site. It's always my pleasure to help promote John's work. He's become a great friend over the years and I'm honored to be called his official sponsor for the 2016 and 2017 RT Booklovers Convention (you'll be seeing more about that later). If you'd like to check out John's website, here's the link:
Thank you to amazing artist Jay Aheer. Her talented work will now help you to recognize my official sites.
Have you signed up for my newsletter yet? Each month will see a new interview with a featured author. To date, we've welcomed Jodi Meadows, Rachel Caine, and October's newsletter will feature Colleen Houck. Plus, I will keep you up to date on new books, events I am attending, and all the latest information.
Are you interested in joining my street team? You get the newsletter every month. A chance to be the first to read my new books before they are offered to the public and gifts. I love to give my street team gifts. If this is something you're interested in, the sign up form will be "live" soon. I will post the announcement here and over social media.
So visit the site and take a look around then come back and tell me what you think. I'd love to hear from you.

It's actually been a pretty crazy week. I was getting the exterior of my house painted. What should have been finished on Tuesday is still not done. I have high hopes that they will finish it before the next millennia arrives.
In writing news:
I finished the updates to the website, including the new gift shoppe. Yay! I can now finish up on the final check list for "Malevolence (A Legacy Novel)," as well as, continue to work on the rough draft for "She Who Watches (Evil Unleashed)."
I have plans to make a trip into town to get a Starbucks latte as my reward for getting it finished (I will shamelessly use any excuse to go get a Starbucks latte). I think when I get back (with my mood much improved by coffee) I will jump into Malevolence for a while.
I still need to work on this blog. I want to set it up so these posts will also post to my Goodreads blog and my FB page. (Can it do that?) Does anyone know anything about RSS? I think I've just been too tired to understand it.
All in all, my day has gone really well (and will only get better when I get my latte). So...tell me...how did your day go?

Are any of you going to the 2014 Booklovers Convention in New Orleans on May 12-18?
If you are, I would love to hear from you.
I have been spend quite a bit of time trying to get everything ready.
I will be providing a gift basket to be raffled off in Club RT. It will contain posters, swag, a key chain from Julie Fain, decals from Jen Delyth, coffee mug, tea, T-shirt, book bag, and of course, signed copies of "Desires" and "Malevolence."
I'm taking lots of swag to giveaway at the FAN-tastic Day Giant Book Fair, where I will be a signing author (if you're going, please stop by and say hello).
I have also been busy pulling together my costumes for the different social events that I will be attending, which includes a cover model sock hop. That's right...dancing with all those hot cover models in poodle skirts (me, not them).
I'll keep you updated as the time draws near. Maybe we'll do a giveaway for those that aren't able to make the trip, but will be there in spirit.

I sent out my first query to an agent last night. I will be walking around with my fingers and toes crossed for the next five to six weeks. Yes, it will look odd, but I am not taking any chances because I am hoping that an agent will help me take my writing to the next level. It would be ever so appreciated if you would walk around with your fingers and toes crossed, as well. You know...solidarity.

My first Goodreads givaway has ended.
I had 903 people enter the contest!
Congratulations to the 10 people that did win! Some good news for them...due to a shipping error they will be receiving hardcover copies of my book, instead of the original soft cover. I will ship them by the end of the week.

"Malevolence: A Legacy Novel" is currently being written and the intensity has been kicked up a notch. Fantasy artist, Julie Fain's work will grace the cover and Jen Delyth's Celtic masterpieces will bring inspiring beauty to the interior.
Simultaneously, I am writing a novel (which may turn out to be the first in a series) that is based on a Native American Legend that I am hoping will have you biting your nails. Yes, I have a title, but let's keep that a secret just a little bit longer.
I will be posting more information on both of these books on the "Coming Soon" page in the coming months. Be sure to watch for it!

It's official..."Desires" is now on sale. Amazon.com was the first to offer it, but now it is being carried by Barnes and Noble, Powell's Books, AbeBooks and various independent sellers. Also, it is available in the UK and India. I have added the links on the "Desires" page.
"Desires: A Legacy Novel" is also listed on Goodreads.com. I am working on setting up an Author's page through them. When it is finished I will be hosting a book giveaway. If you enjoy the book, I encourage you to post a review. Word of mouth is the best compliment any book can receive.
March's contest will be about the book and the prizes will be big. Don't be left out of the fun. Get your copy and enter to win!
